The ACS holds annual conferences around the Australasin region catering to the needs of both Clinical and Research Cytometersits. The conferences are a place to come together with your peers and develop new knowledge, contacts and exposure to the cutting edge of cytometry techniques and international developments.

The 38th Annual Scientific Meeting, Workshop and AGM of the Australasian Cytometry Society will be held in Perth, Western Australia, from Oct 11th - 14th, 2015.

Senior Scientific Officer - Flow Cytometry UTS

The UTS Faculty of Science is looking for an expert user in in flow cytometry. As a Senior Scientific Officer you will be an expert user working closely with researchers and the faculty’s technical staff on state of the art equipment and contributing to exciting research outcomes in the Faculty.

Applications are invited for a full-time Flow Cytometry Analyst position to join our dynamic team in the Flow Cytometry and Imaging Core Facility at the QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute. 

In November 2013, the AFCG made the important step of changing our name to the Australasian Cytometry Society, in order to (i) encompass the broader range of cell analysis techniques now available and (ii) reflect the maturity of our association as scientific society.

In pursuit of these objectives, the group organises annual scientific conferences and regular technical methods courses. Membership has grown to more than 300.
