ISAC Members Please Vote!!

For anyone who is an ISAC member then please take the time to vote in the current ISAC Council Elections.

Our president, Adrian Smith, is one of eight candidates for four council positions.  It is appears that Adrian is the only new candidate who is based outside of the USA so it is imperative that we support his election to ensure that ISAC remains a truly international society with strong representatiion from this region.

If you know any ISAC members then please encourage them to vote!

It is our pleasure to announce that we have selected a new logo for the Australasian Cytometry Society.

You can see the new logo in the header of this email and this was the clear favourite amongst those who voted. We hope it serves us well for the years ahead.

Thank you to the over 100 people who voted on our shortlist. Special thanks to Rob Salomon who organised the logo competition and the voting process.

ISAC SRL Emerging Leaders Program

Congratulations to our Treasurer, Rob Salomon, who has been chosen as one of ISAC's 2014-2018 Shared Resource Lab (SRL) Emerging Leaders.

You can read more about the SRL program here - http ://isac-net . org/News/Society/Congratulations-to-the-New-2014-2018-Shared-Resour . aspx

We look forward to seeing what comes from this program in the years ahead.

The 2013 AGM of the Australasian Flow Cytometry Society marked the end of an era. At that meeting on November 30 we resolved to:

(i) change our name to the Australasian Cytometry Society and

(ii) change our governance structure.
